I binged on your podcast. Thank you for making it. I had no idea where to start and was put off by my county's adoption services. As the resources/ classes are an hour drive away. Your podcasts have only strengthened my resolve to adopt and helped me narrow down my options.

Yes, fantastic podcast. I would now love to hear post-adoption stories specific to fostering, such as do the boys ever mention/ask about their birth parents or previous foster home? Do you talk to them about their foster/adoption background? How do you handle strangers' questions about your family? Thank you!

Hi Adam and Matt,

We are Canadian, and my husband and I have 3 biological sons ages 12,10,8. We have put through our application with our local Childrens Aid Society in hope of adopting a child aged 3-8.

I listened to all your podcasts in one week on my way to work.
I just wanted you to know that your podcast was extremely positive and definitely brought forward the good in adpoting through foster care. In your 20th episode you mentioned that your friend was scared off by your podcast, total opposite for me. You were very correct in saying that there is lots of negative and bad experiences on the internet and it was so nice to hear a good journey.
My husband and I have been doing so much research on adoption and we want to make sure it is the right decision for us. In my heart I know it is right, but I feel the need to know everything so i can feel confident I can handle what challenges it brings.
I would love to hear more about your challenges with the boys and whether or not the adoption was finalized. I cant recall hearing that in the podcast.

hi Adam and Matt! I absolutely love your podcast. I have listened to the entire story 3 or 4 times now. Your guys are amazing story tellers. As we get ready to head to court, for the first time...I feel many of the same emotions you guys did. It's hard. It's tiring. But we wouldn't have it any other way.
